MBNA Release Two New Cards With 0% Deals

MBNA, the Bank of America Subsidiary, have announced the release of two new credit card deals now available to UK consumers. The new cards come with balance transfer and purchase deals unrivalled by any others in the market place.* One is for customers looking to switch balances for better deal; and the other is an all-rounder offering 12 months at 0% on both balance transfers and card purchases.
Card 1: MBNA Dual credit card
- 0% on balance transfers for 12 months (made within the first 60 days from account opening).
- 0% on card purchases for 12 months
- Low 2.98% balance transfer handling fee
- Standard interest rate of 18.9% APR (typical) variable
Card 2: MBNA Balance Transfer credit card
- 0% on balance transfers for 16 months (made within the first 60 days from account opening)
- Low 2.9% handling fee
- 0% on card purchases for the first three months
- Standard interest of 16.8% APR (typical) variable

We know from speaking to our customers, and potential customers, that they are looking for credit card lenders to deliver greater choice and better offers to the UK credit card market; that's why we are committed to enhancing and expanding our product portfolio when other lenders may not be.”
He went on to say: “Once customers are approved for one of our cards, they will be able to transfer a balance of up to 95% of their credit limit, as the cap MBNA sets on balances transfers is higher than most other lenders in the UK market.”
