National Anti-Bullying Week is November 16 - 20

Some people are gay. Get over it!
Celebrities support Stonewall's Get Over It! campaign
Celebrities including Derren Brown, Beverly Knight, Dannii Minogue, Skunk Anansie and Amy Lame have joined prime minister Gordon Brown in supporting Stonewall's Some People Are Gay, Get Over It! campaign.
To coincide with National Anti-Bullying Week (November 16 - 20), they have spoken out about the need to tackle the issue of homophobic bullying in schools, and Stonewall has launched a national advertising campaign using the pupil-devised slogan on panels in 3,500 buses in England, Scotland and Wales.
Laura Doughty, Stonewall's director of communications, said: "Some People Are Gay, Get Over It! was created by young people for young people. So for Anti-Bullying Week we're directly targeting young people travelling to and from school on buses.
"Stonewall is asking supporters of equality to get much more involved in direct campaigning - both during National Anti-Bullying Week and beyond. It's key for us to engage with people in ways they can respond to easily. Become our friend on Facebook or follow us on Twitter to keep up to date with exciting ways you can get more involved.
"There are various interactive ways Stonewall is asking people to get involved with our activities for Anti-Bullying Week. These include writing to your old school, becoming a school governor, volunteering for Stonewall and displaying the campaign's slogan by ordering your free posters and postcards and helping us spread the word."
Some People Are Gay, Get Over It T-shirts can be ordered from www.stonewall.org.uk, and free travelcard holders bearing the slogan will be available from Stonewall staff on London's Old Compton Street from 5pm on Friday November 20.
