Casey Johnson death down to drugs, says fiancée

Casey Johnson
Lesbian Johnson & Johnson heiress found dead
Casey Johnson, the heiress to the Johnson & Johnson beauty empire, has been found dead at the age of 30.
Casey, a lesbian, was engaged to be married to Tila Tequila, a web personality of considerable fame in the US.
Radaronline.com reports that Tequila has blamed the death of her fiancée on prescription drugs.
On her Twitter page, Tequila wrote, “Everyone please pray 4 my Wifey Casey Johnson. She has passed away. Thank u for all ur love and support but I will be offline to be w family.”
Johnson’s body was found on Monday – but it is as yet unclear how long she had been dead.
Despite being born into vast wealth, the heiress had led a troubled life. In 2007, Casey lost custody of her 3-year-old adopted daughter, Ava – originally from Kazakhstan – to the girl’s natural mother when she was found to be living in squalor.
She was also the original choice to co-star alongside Paris Hilton on the huge global television success, The Simple Life, the show that catapulted both Hilton and her second choice of side-kick, Nicole Richie, to international stardom. Casey and Paris had been high school classmates. “I kick myself in the butt every day,” she told Vanity Fair of turning down the offer. It was the “stupidest mistake of my life.”
The exact cause of death is still unknown, though police say there is no suspicion of foul play.
Casey’s family, in a statement released through their publicist Jesse Derris, said “it is mourning its tragic loss, and asks for privacy during this very difficult time.”
