Glee star Jane Lynch, who plays the sarcastic cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester in the hit TV series has married her long-time partner, psychiatrist Lara Embry in a private ceremony in Massachusetts.
The wedding was a low-key affair with no celebrity guests and took place at the Blue Heron restaurant in the town of Sunderland.
It is reported that the couple chose to tie the knot in Massachusetts as it was the first state in America to legalise gay marriage.
Lynch, who is 49, was nominated last year for a Golden Globe Award for the role of Sue Sylvester in Glee.
