Gay Showbiz News: Comedian and chat show host Paul OGrady will return as his most famous creation later this year.

Lily Savage set to return
Six years after last playing the foul-mouthed Birkenhead bombshell, O’Grady plans to don the wig and slap again for a special appearance as Widow Twanky in Aladdin at Southampton’s Mayflower theatre from 110 December to 8 January.
However, O’Grady insists that Lily will never returning to TV, as High Definition would show up all her wrinkles.
Speaking about Lily’s return, O’Grady told the Sun newspaper:
"Ever since I gave up doing Lily people have been going on at me to give her a reprise.
"I always said 'never again' but couldn't resist. Lily is a part of me and I can't change that, so better to bring her back….
“It's not as if I need the money. She's a great girl and I have an absolute passion for theatre.”
