Gay News: Danny Miller, who plays gay character Aaron Livesy in Emmerdale, has been the victim of a homophobic attack.

Emmerdale actor in "gay boy" attack
The 19-year-old, who is straight, was attacked by two drunken men in Manchester over the weekend.
The star of the long-running soap told his 12,000 fans on Twitter: “I was attacked by a couple of lads tonight but managed to escape unharmed…”
He later added: “Afraid to say it was Emmerdale related.”
A witness to the attack told the People newspaper that one of the attackers had shouted, “There’s that gay lad off the telly – let’s f***ing get him.”
The onlooker continued: “It was terrifying. A group of lads shouted, ‘Oi, gay boy, you out with your boyfriend tonight?’
“Then the yobs started running and screaming, ‘Get him, get him.’”
