Lady Gaga supports gay marriage

Apple accused of censoring Lady Gaga

Apple’s new music-based social network, which was announced on Wednesday 1 September, used a promotional screenshot featuring Lady Gaga’s tweets in its presentation.

However, according to the Gawker website, the Alejandro singer’s tweets supporting gay marriage and the abolition of Proposition 8 were deleted.

Apple is notorious for its extra-sensitive position regarding controversial or salcious content on its applications for its iPhone and iPad.

Lady Gaga's  offending tweets read:

“REJOICE AND CELEBRATE gay communities and straight all over the world. Our voices are being heard! Loud! SCREAM LOUD AMERICANOS.”

“At the moment’s notice of PROP 8 DEATH I instantly began to write music. BUBBLE DREAMS FOREVER! FULL EQUALITY! THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING!”

The news follows reports that Lady Gaga is training to be a minister so that she can marry her gay fans on stage in those states where same-sex marriage is legal.
