Former Mr Gay UK denies rape charges
PC Mark Carter, 27 has appeared at Leeds Crown Court where he pleaded not guilty to two charges of rape and three sexual assaults.
The charges which involved four different alleged victims were said to have happened between 18 and 19 December last year in a hotel in Leeds.
Carter, who has been suspended from West Yorkshire Police, was given conditional bail until his trial on 13 December.
He was also charged with possession of the Class C body-building drug Stanazol, and was given unconditional bail on this count until the trial.
Mark Carter was crowned Mr Gay UK in 2006 at Flamingo’s nightclub in Blackpool.
