Gay News: The hit high school musical show is to address the issue of bullied gay teenagers in a forthcoming episode.

Glee to tackle bullying of gay teens
Ryan Murphy, the show’s creator, is hoping that the storyline will show Glee fans struggling with their sexuality how to cope with being bullied.
The news follows a string or recent suicides of bullied gay teenagers in the States, including that of Tyler Clementi who leapt to his death from
Matthew Morrison, who plays teacher Will Schuester in the hit show, told E! Online:
“Ryan wants to do an episode about it, which I think is very smart of him. As a cast, I don’t know how much we can do. That’s why I think an episode would be great.”
Kevin McHale, who plays wheelchair-bound Artie Abrams in the show agreed.
“It’s sad that it’s taken these past few weeks and horrible tragedies to really let people know what’s going on,” he said. “I think that being in our position and Ryan taking that on is great.
“Hopefully we can move the general public and let the kids and the parents watching the show know that everybody deserves to be loved.”
Chris Colfer, who plays gay teenager Kurt in the hit show, is one of thousands of ordinary people and stars who have contributed to the It’s Gets Better project on Youtube.
The brainchild of journalist Dan Savage, and inspired by the current wave of gay teenage suicides, the videos feature teenagers and adults, talking of the bullying they received at school, and how their lives have changed for the better.
