In a video posted on the YouTube channel, Hillary Clinton has told all gay teenagers who are being bullied for their sexuality to “hang in there”, and seek help.
Clinton’s video is the latest in the “It Gets Better” campaign which has seen thousands of celebrities and members of the general public post messages of support and details of their own experience coping with homophobic bullying.
The campaign follows the recent spate of suicides in the USA of gay teenagers who have taken their lives as a consequence of homophobic bullying.
