Winter Pride comes back to Brighton

Brighton & Hove Winter Pride will run from Saturday 5 March to Sunday 13 March 2011, and will bring together local businesses and community groups in a wide range of events throughout the city.
A smaller event than the main Pride event in the summer, Winter Pride is more community-based and serves as a fundraiser for the larger event.
Russell Allen, the Chair of Brighton & Hove Pride said: “After a year off we want Winter Pride 2011 to be even bigger and better than ever before with more diverse community involvement and business fundraising events.
“The news that Winter Pride will be back next year has been met with a great deal of support and we are really looking forward to its return.
“Winter Pride is different to the main summer Pride events in so many ways as it encourages more local community groups to get involved in Pride to raise their own profile and supports the amazing work they do 365 days a year.”
