Speaking on the Breakfast Show on Gaydar Radio, Ross was replying to a listener who had phoned in to ask how he would feel if one of his three daughters were to bring a woman home.
“My eldest daughter is gay, so that’s a question I’ve dealt with on a regular basis already,” Ross replied. “And providing it’s a nice woman, I’m thrilled. I’ve got no problems, obviously.”
He went on to say that he loved his children regardless of who they are.
“Certainly their sexuality is (a) none of my business, and (b) certainly none of my concern,” he said.
“I just want them to be good, happy, stable people and so far all three of them seem to be that.
In 2009 Ross was criticised for making a gay joke on his Radio 2 show, but was cleared of making derogatory comments towards gay people by broadcasting watchdog Ofcom.
