Joan Rivers speaks out for gay marriage

 11 February 2011

Rivers’ video is the latest in a series of celebrity ads endorsing gay marriage in the state.

The campaign is backed by the US-based Human Rights Campaign (HRC) and features on TVs in the back of New York cabs.

In the video, Rivers, who has a long history of supporting gay rights, says: “All New Yorkers believe in fairness, that’s why we should support marriage quality. For goodness’ sakes, come on, guys.”
