Gay News: Four men have been arrested after a man was stabbed in a suspected homophobic attack in North London

Four men held after "homophobic" attack

The attack happened in Camden, North London, at approximately 02.15am on the night of 14 February.

The victim had left the Black Cap gay pub with two friends when he was approached by a group of four black men, near CamdenLockBridge.

One of the suspects in the group asked him, “Are you gay?”

When he refused to answer, the group moved off, but the suspect returned seconds later and stabbed the victim in the chest and leg.

Four men, aged between 17 – 19, have now been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

The Metropolitan Police are treating this as a suspected homophobic incident.

The victim is in a central London hospital where his condition is described as stable.
