Broadway to host gay weddings

Some same-sex couples will be married on the stage of the Saint James Theater on West 44th Street, after that night’s performance of the revival hippie musical, Hair.
“It’s not just a summer of love,” said Rory O’Malley, star of the Tony award-winning The Book of Mormon. “It’s a summer of equality.”
The weddings will take place on Monday, 25 July, one day after New York becomes the sixth North American state to make gay marriage legal.
