Solicitors Russell Jones & Walker are to host a free seminar in Manchester on LGBT rights.

The event, which is in association with Village Drinks and pinknews.co.uk will be held on Thursday 18th September at Malmaison Hotel, 1- 3 Piccadilly, Manchester. The evening will start at 6.30pm.

Members of the gay community will be given free access to information about the range of new laws affecting their lives.

Leading legal experts will be on hand to offer advice, and family lawyers will share their experiences in dealing with issues arising from civil partnerships and adoptions.

This special event is designed to discuss the many questions that gay people have about their rights, such as:

·        How do I complain about being victimised at work without being outed?

·        Can I adopt my partner’s kids?

·        How can I take action against homophobic businesses?

·        Are pre-nuptial agreements legally binding?

·        What kind of discrimination at work will result in compensation?

·        If I and my partner are in a civil partnership in the UK, does that mean we are also married in Spain?

Pink Law: Know Your Rights is free but registration is required.
