Cardiff Pride cancelled at last minute

Cardiff Pride, which was to be held tomorrow, 6th September, has been cancelled
After consultation with Cardiff council, it was decided that Coopers Field, where the event was to be held, was too waterlogged. Much of Wales has been subject to torrential rain today.
The Cardiff Pride Committee had worked hard to ensure that the event could go ahead, and the decision has not been taken lightly, the Committee said in a statement this afternoon.
However, local club Pulse will be accommodating some of the acts as part of its Street Party.
The Cabaret Tents acts will perform on stage in the club from 2pm, and most of the Main Stage acts will be on the big Pulse Street Party stage. Some of the funfair rides will also be used at the Street Party.

Cardiff Pride will be contacting all suppliers, acts and volunteers as soon as possible to confirm arrangements.
