Cameron to attend Pride event

David Cameron is to attend a gay Pride event this summer.
According to the Daily Mail, the Tory leader will take part in the Pride at the Paramount event at London’s Centrepoint, on June 30, just days before the main Pride celebrations in the capital.
This will be the first time that a Conservative Party leader – and potential future Prime Minister – has appeared at an openly gay event.
The event has been organised by Margot James who is the lesbian Tory parliamentary candidate for Stourbridge.
Also reported to be attending Pride at the Paramount will be Ben Summerskill, Chief Executive of Stonewall, Tory MP Nick Herbert and journalist Matthew Parris.
