Cher's daughter is to have a sex change
Chastity Bono who is Cher’s daughter by the late Sonny Bono came out as a lesbian twenty years ago.
Publicist Howard Bragman said that 'Chaz' was proud of his decision and grateful for the support of his loved ones.
Bono had made the courageous decision to 'honour his true identity,” Bragman continued.
Bono’s gender reassignment process started earlier this year.
He is currently an activist for LGBT rights.
