New Durex ad features gay coppers
A new French advert for Durex condoms shows two policemen about to have sex to an ABBA soundtrack. It begins with the wrapper from an about to be used condom being caught by a gust of wind and flying out of a couple's apartment; thereupon it floats throughout a city and inflames other couples to enjoy safe sex.
The lovers range from smitten youths to an elderly couple who sweep the tea things from their table prior to getting down to it. Finally, the wrapper ends up on the windscreen of a (seemingly American) police car causing the two middle-aged policemen to exchange knowing looks.
The ad ends with the line 'Les preservatifs qui donnent envie', which is translated as 'Condoms that generate desire'.
