French kissing

France did some serious same sex snogging at the weekend.

Eleven towns in France took part in the latest Kiss-In against Homophobia.

From Paris to Marseilles, Lille to Toulouse, hundreds of couples gathered in the town centres at 4 o’clock on Saturday to claim their right to kiss in public.

The first Kiss-In was held in June this year as a protest against homophobia, and the next one will take place on Saturday 12th December.

The organisers are hoping that the Kiss-Ins will eventually become an international event.
