Abbaworld gets world premiere in London in January
ABBAWORLD, the new, and most importantly, hugely interactive and audiovisual exhibition for devotees of the Swedish popsters, gets its world premiere in London in the new year (Earls Court, January 27 to March 28) before it goes on its international tour.
Apart from the 25 rooms bursting with exclusive music, footage, images and previously unseen memorabilia from the personal collections of Agnetha, Benny, Bjorn and Frida, there'll be the fully interactive Perform with ABBA, which allows visitors to get up on stage with the band as part of a stunning 3D holographic illusion, and the Tretow MIX Challenge - a chance to recreate the ABBA sound, along with Sing-A-Long and Dance, the ABBA Quiz and the opportunity for fans to see themselves as part of an ABBA video. Best of all, all interaction will be recorded, allowing visitors to access it later online at www.abbaworld.com.
London is the natural choice for the debut of ABBAWORLD, which is fully approved and supported by the band. As Frida said: "On behalf of Agnetha, Bjorn, Benny and I, we are delighted to be part of ABBAWORLD and to have the opportunity to share our amazing experiences with our fans. The interactive elements mean this is the first time we can actually take them on the journey with us. London has a special place in all our hearts and we are looking forward to the world premiere of ABBAWORLD in January."
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Thursday December 3 from www.livenation.co.uk
