This week at Gigantic we're really excited to have PAUL WELLER bring his UK tour to the site, tickets go on sale at 9am tomorrow (Friday). Also on sale on Friday morning are ONE NIGHT ONLY, who are actually playing a number of nights in the UK. Festival fun is provided by GET LOADED IN THE PARK 2008, while THE GUTTER TWINS provide a moodier atmosphere with their essential London date, both on sale now.
Glasgow's hottest export GLASVEGAS will be bringing their powerful sound to a venue near you, tickets are available right now. We've also got tickets on sale for acts as diverse as ASH, THE HOOSIERS, MACY GRAY, LETHAL BIZZLE and LYKKE LI, among a whole host of others.

The English singer-songwriter, leader of two successful bands (The Jam and The Style Council), has remained essentially a national rather than an international star, possibly because much of his songwriting is rooted in English culture. He is also the principal figure of the 1970s Mod revival and is often called the Modfather.
GET LOADED IN THE PARK 2008
Returning for its 5th year of indie-crazed-rock and electro-jackin-dance is Get Loaded In The Park, held at Clapham Common, London on bank holiday Sunday 24 Aug 2008. This years line-up is headlined by IGGY AND THE STOOGES, other acts include KATE NASH, THE HIVES, REVEREND AND THE MAKERS, SUPERGRASS, GOGOL BORELLO, GOSSIP, THE HOLLOWAYS and THE MACCABEES. More are yet to be announced.
THE GUTTER TWINS
The Gutter Twins is a musical collaboration between rock musicians Greg Dulli and Mark Lanegan. They are two of the most intimidating dudes in rock'n'roll, their lengthy discographies littered with bad drugs, bad women, and the violence (physical, emotional, and spiritual) that surrounds these bad situations.
GLASVEGAS
Mixing vintage rock and pop with moody guitars is Glasvegas, a Scottish band from Glasgow. The four piece set their melodies to words of love lost and heartbreak. Strong influences are The Jesus and Mary Chain and Elvis.
ONE NIGHT ONLY
UK tour on sale Friday, 9am
This 5 piece indie electronic rock outfit is putting Yorkshire back on the map with their unique sound, blending intricate guitars with synths, keyboards, thumping rhythms and pleasing vocals. Their debut album was released earlier this year, and they have gained an audience outside Yorkshire after touring with The Pigeon Detectives.
ASH
Ash are an alternative rock band that formed in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland in 1992. The media originally pegged Ash's music as Britpop when the band first found mainstream success.
THE HOOSIERS
Autumn tour - on sale Friday 9am
The Hoosiers are a rock band from Reading, Berkshire and Sweden. This indie pop band claim to create a sound that they call "indie but we're not cool enough". Tickets go on sale Friday 2nd May.
MACY GRAY
One off London Date
Macy Gray is an American R&B, soul, and neo soul singer-songwriter, record producer, and actress, famed for her raspy voice and a singing style heavily influenced by Billie Holiday and Betty Davis. To date, Macy has released four studio albums, one compilation album and a live album. She has acted in a number of movies including "Training Day", "Spider-Man" and "Scary Movie 3", Gray is best known for her international hit single "I Try", taken from her multi-platinum debut album On How Life Is.
LETHAL BIZZLE
Lethal Bizzle is one of the fastest growing East London Grime artists. In December, 2004 he released "Pow (Forward)", also known as "Forward Riddim", which was banned from airplay by some mainstream stations; it entered the UK Singles Chart at number 11 in the first chart of 2005.
THE SAW DOCTORS
Leo, Davy, Kevin, Anthony and Eimhin form The Saw Doctors, a folk-rock band from Tuam, Ireland. Catch them across the country throughout December.
THE GODFATHERS
The Godfathers were formed by Peter and Chris Coyne. Touring extensively the UK, Europe and the USA, they earned a reputation for their no-holds barred live shows and electrifying brand of primal rock 'n' roll.
THE BLACK LIPS
The Black Lips are a self-described "flower punk" band from Atlanta, Georgia and have a reputation for crazy live shows! They have slowly built a fan base that appreciates their energy and style that is a rough mishmash of blues, rock, doo-wop, country, and punk. Tickets available now.
SON OF DAVE
Son of Dave makes a formidable racket. He brings the Blues kicking and howling into the 21st century without thievery or pretension creating funky ass Devil music with just his hands and lips. Benjamin Darvil is a Canadian musician and singer-songwriter, best known for playing harmonica, mandolin, guitar and more for the Crash Test Dummies. Since 2000, he has been busy with his solo project Son of Dave, which has resulted in four albums.
LYKKE LI
Lykke Li will be huge. Li takes the best elements of Annie, Peter Bjorn & John and the new breed of British female singer-songwriters to create her own unique lo-fi pop sound. The indie singer from Sweden is playing throughout June.
THE GREAT ESCAPE
The Great Escape continues to highlight the best new music first Sam Sparro & Alphabeat were relatively unknown when the festival booked them but they're already climbing the charts! This year's Great Escape already has several top ten artists playing its festival, despite these acts being relatively unkown a few months ago.
RIVAL SCHOOLS
Born out of a hearty hardcore pedigree, the members of Rival Schools stepped to the plate with a phenomenal history and the qualities that would point towards an amazing future.
THE WONDER STUFF (The Eight Legged Groove Machine 20th Anniversary Shows)
The Wonder Stuff formed in 1986 and released their first album, 'The Eight Legged Groove Machine' two years later. Aside from writing scores of articles about the album and the band as a whole, it was the arrogant, self-confidence manner of vocalist/guitarist Miles Hunt who also attracted the media with his sneering lyrics and instant put-downs to anyone who rose up against him on stage.
TOOTS AND THE MAYTALS
Toots and the Maytals, originally called simply The Maytals, are one of the best known ska and reggae vocal groups. Their sound is a unique, original combination of gospel, ska, soul, reggae and rock. They hold the current record of number one hit songs in Jamaica, with a total of 31 number one songs.
