Among those in attendance at the annual event were actor Angus Deayton, TV presenters Christian Jessen and Kristian Digby, personality Nancy Dell’Olio and actor Richard Wilson, who is set to present the Stonewall Awards later this week. The evening also boasted performances from Sophie Ellis-Bextor and DJ Danny Rampling.
The yearly event takes place in some of London’s most prestigious restaurants and private homes. Restaurants and caterers donate their services free of charge for the THT.
There were a total of 600 guests at 45 dinners held simultaneously across the capital. The total money raised for the cause was £70,000.
Debbie Holmes, Director of Fundraising at Terrence Higgins Trust commented on the success of the evening, heralding it "an amazing night". She also went on to explain the importance of fundraising for the charity:
"HIV is the fastest growing serious health condition in the UK and the money raised will go directly towards our vital work supporting people living with, or affected by HIV.”
