Tom Ford and John Barrowman to become dads?

Tom Ford
Fashion icon and Torchwood actors mull fatherhood. Separately.
"'I don't want to get to 75 years old and just have made a lot of dresses,' said Ford"
One was the creative force behind the revival of fashion label Gucci, the other is arguably the most famous gay man on television. And both of them have fatherhood on their minds.
Tom Ford, fashion guru, has spoken of how he and his long-term partner are going to have a child this year: "Richard knows I've wanted this for a long time, he's just resisted it," said Ford in fashion magazine Fantastic Man. "He would be a spectacular father. It's going to give his life a new meaning... I've always wanted kids. I don't want to get to 75 years old and just have made a lot of dresses, done some houses..."
In the case of John Barrowman, a famous female friend of his - Suranne Jones who played Karen McDonald in Coronation Street and starred with him in the stage version of A Few Good Men - has offered to become his surrogate. "She has said that if I wanted a baby, she'll have one for me," says the Torchwood star, who celebrated a Civil Partnership with his long-term lover Scott last year. "She wants to be a mum at some point and said if she didn't have a partner, she'd do it with us instead... I'd love to have kids."
