Jonathan Ross: "mortified"
Jonathan Ross is in trouble again over "anti-gay" jokes
The radio star came under fire after he made a series of remarks on his Radio 2 show on Saturday.
Discussing competition prizes based on the Hannah Montana TV series, Ross joked: “If your son asks for a Hannah Montana MP3 player, you might want to already think about putting him down for adoption before he brings his... erm... partner home."
A BBC spokesman confirmed that the Corporation had received four complaints about Ross’s comments, but insisted that the broadcaster was not homophobic
On his Twitter account Ross has written: "Am mortified to hear some people thought I was being homophobic on Radio show. Nothing could be further from truth, as I am sure most know."
