Stonewall's Bully of the Year 2006 keeps his job

Bully?
Chris Moyles has had his salary cut
Chris Moyles revealed on his Radio 1 show yesterday that he has signed a new contract with the BBC. The presenter, who has been mired in controversy over allegations of homophobia for years, is believed to have had his previous salary of £630,000 cut to around £500,000 in line with BBC's drive to reduce the remuneration of its top stars by between 20 and 25 per cent.
His most recent brush with the authorities was in March, when Ofcom censured him for condoning negative stereotypes of gay people in derogatory comments about Will Young. Moyles changed the lyrics of two of Young's songs and sang the spoof versions in "an effeminate and high-pitched voice", ruled Ofcom.
Moyles's lyrics included: "It's my birthday today, gonna wear my new dress tonight. And I smell nice. I've had a shower and I've shaved my legs. Oooh Will Young here, mmmh. I'm here, it's Will's birthday and as the years go by I get more very gay," and, "When you saw me years ago you didn't know, but I'm the gayest fella you probably know. Mmm, I like to wear a silly hat, I get camper by the hour, oh would you look at the muck in here. I'm Will Young and I'm gay."
In February, veteran broadcaster Paul Gambaccini said Moyles should be sacked. "I find his continual presence on Radio 1 unacceptable. Chris Moyles should be gone. I am nauseated by the Radio 1 press office constantly rationalising his behaviour."
