Call yourself a sex addict? - find out this September and October

THT
Terrence Higgins Trust tackles sex addiction
The Terrence Higgins Trust is launching an eight-week series of evening workshops in central London for gay men who are worried that they are behaving in an addictive or compulsive way in their sex lives. Beginning September 2, every Wednesday from 6.30 - 9pm the 'Call yourself a sex addict?' group will aim to help men who feel that their sexual behaviour is having an overwhelming and negative impact on their lives. They will be led by expert facilitators who have training to deal with addiction issues.
Gordon Mundie, Group work coordinator at THT said: "Having a lot of sex may sound fantastic, but some men find it taking over their lives. If they're not having sex, they might think about it constantly, may spend a lot of time looking for it, or might put themselves in increasingly risky sexual situations. If you feel your relationship is out of control, there is help available. Just get in touch."
THT also said that people who have attended a previous course on the same subject found it very useful in terms of helping them change their behaviour, and that everyone who attended said that if appropriate, they would recommend the workshops to a friend.
