Rainbow Road Raging
Rainbow Rampage, the world’s first gay motorsports event, launches from Brighton on 26 June.
Billed as the ultimate gay party, Rainbow Rampage is an epic motor rally across the wide open roads of Europe. Setting off from the starting line in Brighton, the rally ends seven days later, and 2,300 miles away, in party city Budapest.
Taking in some of the most spectacular scenery in Europe, the rally passes through Paris, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Berlin, Prague and Vienna, before reaching its Hungarian destination just in time for the annual Gay Pride Parade there.
More than just a road trip, the Rainbow Rampage is set to be a fabulous expression of free spirit and welcomes participants of every colour and stripe to represent the full spectrum of gay identities, personalities and styles.
Along the way, drivers can expect challenges, incredible nightly parties, all the tunes they can blast, 25-plus teams and some very, very hot cars.
And if that wasn’t enough, then there is the chance of tearing up the classic highways of America when the US holds its own Rainbow Rampage in September.
Starting from Seattle, the Stateside event will pass through Las Vegas and LA before ending up in San Francisco for the famous Love Fest.
