The very first Europride festival to be held in Eastern Europe is between 9 and 18 July, with the main Parade taking place on Saturday 17 July, followed by a music concert of international talent in the Syrenka Stadium.
More than 40,000 people are expected to visit Warsaw from all over Europe. As well as the Parade and Pride parties, a whole host of other activities are already being planned including film showings, concerts and exhibitions, business forums and events, a classy exhibition of homo-erotic art at Poland’s National Museum, and a weekend-long picnic in what’s been designated “Pride Park”.
The London Gay Men's Chorus will also be performing alongside Stockholm's gay choir, and many of Warsaw's top hotels are offering special deals for EuroPride..
